LiveProg Recommended: Oddleaf – Where Ideal and Denial Collide

So this video is out for a while…Sadly I have been a bit too busy to finally add it to the website, but here it is! The amazing debut album of the French prog band Oddleaf. And this band totally deserves to be heard, as they have crafted a very beautiful album, a modern sounding album, yet with a nice vintage 70s prog seasoning.

The singer of the band contacted me a few onths ago, as she also sang in another French band, that I reviews some 12 years ago, Akin. Funny enough she only recently came across the video on my channel. Because of this she sent me a message on facebook and told me she now sang with Oddleaf. So I started to have a closer look at this band.

Then I got in touch with Carina Taurer, the keyboardist and composer of the band and she asked if I wanted to help spread the word about the band before the release. Well, I love to help out yung and starting bands and especially if they make music as beautiful as Oddleaf does, it is a treat to do a video. So I did. And i hope the music of Oddleaf reaches as many people as possble, because it is absolutely worth it!

So in addition to my review of the album, you can listen to a song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SB_cqRiahg
