The album that brought me back!

At the end of 2014, a lot of things happened, that made me quit LiveProg quite sudden. Things had become so bad, that I did not listen to anything remotely prog. A few months later, I turned a new leaf, burned my bridges behind me and started a Dutch language YouTube channel about comic books (De Stripvlogger).

I found myself really enjoying that and did that for well over 8 years. But slowly, but surely, prog crept back into my life…And at a certain pointy, I lost inspiration for my comic book channel. At the same time I received an enveloppe from Gentle Art of Music, with two CD’s: a promo copy of the new Subsignal album A Poetry of Rain and a copy of the Violent Jasper album Control.

Funny thing: throughout the years, Gentle Art of Music kept sending me promo’s, even though I had stopped with LiveProg. Now it is good that they did! Because I loved both the Subsignal and Violent Jasper album so much, that I contemplated doing a video on them.

So I gave it a go, made a video and posted it on the LiveProg youtube channel…after over 8 years of silence! And people picked it up, reacted to it and liked that there was a new video on the channel.

It still took me a couple of onths, but at the beginning of 2015, I started to make more videos. Album reviews, but also other video’s. And lo and behold: LiveProg is back!
