A chat with Luke Machin (Karnataka, Cyan, The Tangent)

Back in May 2024 I went to see Cyan in De Pul in Uden (Netherlands) and I caught up with Luke Machin. So it was a pleasant suprise to receive a message from him a few weeks later, inviting me to the Karnataka show, also in De Pul.

I confessed that I wasn’t really familair with Karnataka, but I had a fantastic night! What a wonderful show and what a wonderful band Karnataka are! But as I was coming to the show, I asked Luke if he had some time to do an interview. The first time I ever had Luke Machin in front of my camera, was about 12 years ago, when I interview Andy Tillison and Luke at a The Tangent gig in The Spirit of ’66 in Verviers (Belgium).

But a lot had happened in 12 years, so I thought it was a nice chance to catch up.
