Upcoming new talent: Jacob Roberge releases inpressive debut album!

It doesn’t happen to me that often, that I discover music before it gets big…but now I think I have. Through fellow prog YouTubers, I picked up there was this young guy, who released an incredible debut album. His name was Jacob Roberge.

His debut album, The Passing, was released on Januari 31st of 2025, by himself. Since he is Canadian and the fellow YouTuber were also Canadian, it is no surprise they were the first to review his work. I figured I’d better get in on this quickly and was about to send an e-mail to Jacob, whenI received one from him!

It turned out he not only knew my channel but also enjoyed the video’s I made. He agreed to an interview and we picked a date. We had a really wonderful chat, very nice guy and great musician, as The Passing is a really impressive album. I can only urge you to listen to it yourself…and make sure you get a copy!
